Golden Rocks Permaculture Farm is a family-friendly environment and offers space for small gatherings, in addition to private camping decks for students and visitors, and both dorm room and private room options for those that prefer retreating indoors. Guests are welcome to "Free Range" to their hearts content, to visit chickens, orchard, creek, pond, gardens, wild manzanita and oak forests, to watch wildlife, howl at the moon and sing by the camp fire. Equinox Party & Galaxy Tour w/Dark Sky Events

Fun & Family friendly gathering of music and stars! Come out and visit the gorgeous dark nights at Golden Rocks Permaculture Farm and get up close and personal with a galaxy near us! Under new moon skies we are hosting a Saturday Night gathering with local Dark Sky Professional Angelo Parisi. We'll have the campfire lit and the guitars & drums hummin' to some jazzy folk tunes and old favorites in community circle space, while the sky-watchers are down in a wide-open meadow to take in the brilliant night sky!

Angelo will guide us through the heavens above! Dark Sky Events provides one of the largest portable telescopes available, and an expert "Sky Tour" guide as well! "Our telescope brings into focus the beauty and wonder of distant planets, galaxies, and nebula. We promise a quality experience of the night sky you will always remember." Every Dark Sky Event begins with a tour of the constellations followed by at least two hours of deep sky telescope viewing. Weekend camping and farmstay room packages start at just $95 and are available through Hipcamp.com and Airbnb.com respectively. Drop-in visitors welcome at suggested donation of $15 ea, $40 for families. Don't let $ stop you from coming to join in on the fun! All are welcome at a pay-what-you-can basis.

Outdoor Camping - Individuals

Our campground overlooks a beautiful valley and the Berriessa Ridge Mountains.. There are camping decks as well as cushy camping spots directly on the ground for those who want to "ground." The campground has stunning views towards the east—mountains with a sweeping valley view in the foreground from pretty much every camping spot. Outrageously great sunrises and sunsets, as well as moonrises! Great place to watch meteor showers!!

The outdoor community kitchen and fire ring is available for use, complete with gas stove, triple sink, running water and plenty of dishes to use. Outdoor shower with hot water and great pressure, as well as an outdoor claw-foot bath tub in the woods.

Choose from seven lovely sites, all with sunrise and moonrise views from our east-facing campground. Campfire wood included for cozy evenings. Outstanding Star Gazing opportunities and wonderful place to see wildlife in nature. Deer, Fox, Rabbit, Coyote and chickens are some of the animals roaming free and frequently!

Indoor Family/Friends Dorm Room

THE LOCATION:
Located on developing permaculture farm located in an area with the cleanest skies in California! Which means, probably the most brilliant night skies as well. We enjoy excellent water too, with springs everywhere. Great place to rejuvenate the spirit and take in nature. Plenty of outdoors activities: fishing and rowing nearby lakes, hiking, hot springs, waterfalls and wineries!
THE SPACE:
This is normally rented as a family or friends traveling together space. Pricing of $55/night reflects accommodation for 2 adults and one child. Extra person is $10 per night.

This may also be reserved as a shared room by emailing us and requesting a dorm bed for $25 per night per bed, $35 per night for the double bed/two adults.

GUEST ACCESS:
Guests have access to community kitchen and living space, massage table, learning and enjoying bountiful gardens and orchards, herb walks (small fee applies for guided herb walks), wildlife viewing and more! Private camping spots available as well, can accommodate retreats up to 30 people for workshops.
